Siouxland Aging Services

Task Force

Siouxland Aging Services has active task forces in all five counties (Cherokee, Ida, Monona, Plymouth and Woodbury) to focus on advocacy issues in individual communities. This meeting is especially for people who are 60 years of age and older, caregivers, agencies involved in helping provide services to seniors, and elected officials of the county and community.

Task Force Mission

To provide community education on available services for the elderly and their caregivers

To give attendees the ability to voice concerns regarding issues in their community related to the elderly

To provide updates on political issues effecting the elderly in the state of Iowa

To support endeavors which communicate needs to political representatives
