Siouxland Aging Services, Inc. provides 31 congregate meal sites in the 5-county area. Use the links below to locate one of our congregate meal sites near you: Seniors visiting meal sites in Cherokee, Ida, Monona, Plymouth and Woodbury counties are provided hot, nutritious noon meals each weekday, and may also take part in programs on nutrition, wellness, and other topics of concern to seniors. Seniors may also choose to stay for a friendly game of cards or a shuffle on the dance floor. Meal sites are a wonderful place to meet old friends and make new ones. For seniors who are homebound and/or unable to prepare their own meal, the "Meals on Wheels" program can provide the hot, nutritious meal needed. Volunteers are available to deliver noon meals each weekday. A variety of meals which include, on-site cooking, frozen meals, and shelf stable meals, are all designed to provide 1/3 the Recommended Daily Allowance of nutrients for seniors. There is no charge for the meal, however, there is a suggested donation for the cost of the meal, or a contribution of whatever is affordable.
