Iowa Family Caregiver

When you help family members or older friends maintain their independence and safety, you provide an invaluable gift. Being a caregiver is not an easy role, nor is it one for which most of us are prepared.

Eligibility

The Iowa Family Caregiver Program is available to seniors residing in the following counties: Cherokee, Ida, Monona, Plymouth and Woodbury. Seniors must be at least 60 years of age or a grandparent who is 55 years old or older raising a child relative under the age of 18 or someone diagnosed with dementia. (Can be younger than 60 years of age.)

The Family Caregiver Specialist can connect you to the many resources available to help both you and your family member or friend.

Encouraging

Handling the stress is easier with the emotional support of our Family Caregiver Specialist and support groups.

Empowering
