Siouxland Aging Services, Inc., a not-for-profit, 501(c)3 organization incorporated in the state of Iowa, has been meeting the needs of its senior population in Cherokee, Ida, Monona, Plymouth and Woodbury counties since 1974.

Siouxland Aging Services. Inc. is one of 13 Area Agencies across Iowa, and part of even a larger network on aging that includes 650 Area Agencies on Aging in the United States today. These agencies are linked by administrative and funding relationships under the Older Americans Act, which was first signed into law in 1965.

Siouxland Aging Services provides services without regard to race, color, national origin, sex, age or handicapping condition.


Our Mission

The mission of Siouxland Aging Services, Inc., is to:

1) Secure and maintain maximum independence and dignity in a home environment for older individuals capable of self care with appropriate supportive services;

2) Remove individual and social barriers to economic and personal independence for older individuals; and

3) Provide a continuum of care for the vulnerable elderly.
